After completion of graduate school, I would like to get on a career path in the biotechnology industry. I would focus on plant biochemistry and molecular development with the purposes of developing new molecules to be used in the production of environmentally friendly consumer products. Ideally, this leads me to becoming a Principle Scientist running a research and development division of a bio-chemical company, focusing on developing novel products to address issues such as sustainable energy, increasing the world's food supply, and human health. I want to do this for a company who is not only focused on maximizing profits, but also improving the health of the environment as well.

I want to enroll in a masters or PhD program in Plant Biology and Biochemistry.
