Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am thrilled to share that I am attending Auburn University College of Nursing. It is here that I plan on completing the BSN program and obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing. As of right now, my ideal job after graduation would be in a Labor & Delivery hospital unit, but I am still keeping my mind open to different specialties. I am sure my nursing school journey will allow me to find the specialty that is right for me and that I love. Ultimately I believe I will pursue a job working in a Women's Health, OBGYN, or Labor & Delivery department.
- Graduate school interests
After graduation, I plan to work for a 2-3 years before returning to Auburn University College of Nursing to advance my degree to a Master of Science in Nursing through AUCON's nurse practitioner graduate program. I plan to pursue a future career as a women's health nurse practitioner!
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. There is nothing more special than making memories that will last a lifetime with the people you love! I also enjoy visiting the lake in the summer season. You can always find me outside enjoying nature! I love to read, my favorite genre is crime and mystery. I also enjoy crime TV shows and podcasts. I am also very involved with my faith. I love attending church and studying my religion!

Volunteering
-
During my time as a Central Alabama Community College Ambassador, my fellow ambassadors and I teamed up with the Clean Home Alabama organization and planned a “clean up day” for our area. We did this once a semester. We recruited many students, faculty and citizen volunteers to join us and clean up the litter that filled our streets. With the help of the volunteers, we successfully filled numerous garbage bags with litter and disposed of it properly.

Rhizokids International is a charitable organization that was formed to raise money for research for Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata, a potentially fatal form of dwarfism. During my time as a Sweet Life Photography Spokesmodel, my team and I hosted a local fashion show, in which all proceeds were donated to Rhizokids International. We visited local business and asked for permission to model their merchandise down the runway, which benefitted not only Rhizokids, but the local businesses as well. It was a huge success.

During my time as a Sweet Life Photography Spokesmodel, I had the pleasure of visiting and serving at Birmingham’s Hope Lodge. Hope Lodge is a special place that offers cancer patients a free place to stay during their treatment if they have to travel long ways from home. This allows patients to avoid the stress of paying for lodging, and focus on healing instead. As a spokesmodel, I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing place and providing residents with dinner and dessert, all at no cost.

As a member of Fayetteville High School’s Key Club, I assisted in bringing the annual Senior Citizen’s Social to life each year. This event was dedicated for any and all senior citizens in the surrounding areas. We held a night full of delicious meals, tasty desserts, Christmas cheer, good music and lots of dancing. This was completely free for the senior citizens, and was simply to show our gratitude for them.
