About
I am an international student from northern China, being the only child in my family. I came to the United States in fall 2017, starting at Edmonds Community College in Washington, due to financial concerns, paying less tuition fee. I transferred to University of Arizona in winter 2020, a fresh off start to me to the study of major fields. My life-long motto is that despite my living is only lasting an instant amid the infinity of universe, in a sense I would say, my living would be meaningful if I had done something beneficial to the others.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My ambition is to participate into space-investigating programs, in emerging high-tech companies. I am studying undergrad level astronomy which I believe is firstly cardinal to science researches afterwards.
- Graduate school interests
I am planning to apply grad school in the United States focusing on the planetary science in general, fields not narrowed down to the specific at this point.
- Outside the classroom
I am deeply engaged to playing Go, a one-on-one board game, at intermediate amateur level. I am also into sports and outdoor activities; basketball and hiking are on the top of the list.
