About

I am a dedicated Criminal Justice student at Walden University, pursuing my B.S. with a specialization in Crime and Criminal Investigation. With a 3.99 GPA and consistent mastery across advanced coursework in criminology, criminal law, investigations, corrections, terrorism, and victimology, I have built a strong academic foundation for a wide range of justice‑system careers. My transcript reflects high performance in areas such as Evidentiary Process and Case Building, The Criminal Mind, Crime Analysis and GIS, and Law Enforcement Management.

While I am still exploring which long‑term career path I want to pursue, I am actively taking steps to enter the field. I am currently applying for remote legal transcription opportunities to gain early experience with legal processes, documentation, and case‑related communication. This role aligns with my strengths in accuracy, analysis, and professional writing.

I have narrowed my future career interests to several areas within the justice and forensic sciences, including forensic science technology, court operations, forensic social work, court reporting, substance abuse counseling, sociology, intelligence analysis, digital forensics, and computer forensics investigation. My goal is to continue developing the skills and experience needed to determine which of these paths best aligns with my strengths, values, and long‑term professional goals.

My Honor Society membership reflects my commitment to academic excellence, professional growth, and meaningful contributions to the criminal justice field as I continue to shape my career direction.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is still developing as I continue to gain experience in the criminal justice field. I am actively applying for remote legal transcription positions as a starting point and exploring several long‑term career options, including forensic science technology, court operations, forensic social work, court reporting, substance abuse counseling, sociology, intelligence analysis, digital forensics, and computer forensics investigation.

Graduate school interests

After completing my B.S. in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Crime and Criminal Investigation at Walden University, I plan to continue my education by pursuing the Master of Science in Crime Analysis online through Arizona State University. This program aligns with my academic strengths in research, data analysis, criminology, and investigative concepts, and will allow me to build advanced skills in crime mapping, intelligence analysis, and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Because I am still exploring my long‑term career direction within the criminal justice and forensic fields, graduate study in crime analysis will support multiple potential paths, including intelligence analysis, digital forensics, forensic investigation, court operations, and sociological or behavioral‑science–based roles. My goal is to deepen my analytical expertise and expand my professional opportunities while continuing to develop a clear, informed career trajectory.

Outside the classroom

Reading, writing, coloring, dancing, makeup, and fashion. Music (especially rap and hip‑hop) is a big part of my daily routine. I also enjoy traveling and decorating spaces with an eye for interior design. I’m deeply interested in criminology, psychology, forensic science, and the human brain.
