About

I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Arlington where I am pursuing a degree as a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Science Education. Aside from being a full time student, I am also a second year teacher at Alamo Middle School. I feel very honored to be able to work with a special population of students as an 8th Grade Science Enrichment teacher. It brings me great joy to work along English Language Learners (ELLs) as I was once an immigrant and ELL student myself and understand the struggles my students face. My mission as a teacher is to motivate, inspire, encourage, and support students so they can continue to build a foundation for life-long learning and success beyond my class. For this reason, I plan to continue my education after my master's degree, so I may be better equipped to educate and mentor my students towards personal growth and great achievements.
