About
My name is Rasheed Ajala. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Houston majoring in Geophysics and Seismology with a minor in Geology and Mathematics. Prior to transferring to the University of Houston, I completed all my prerequisite coursework at the University of Houston Downtown and Houston Community College. On completion of my bachelor's program, I plan to pursue a PhD in computational Geophysics. I have always been fascinated with the thrill of the exploration process. Geophysics allows us to look inside the earth and find natural resources that will benefit mankind. I also have a profound interest in programming and software/application development and would love to help create some really cool software that can render more accurate models of the earth's subsurface systems. My main goal is to make a difference in the world and I believe that studying geophysics will help me realize my dream. while I am currently studying geophysics, I am open to any activity or field that strives to improve the world.
