About

I am a Master of Public Administration candidate focused on building public health programs and policies that keep people well, especially LGBTQ people living with HIV and children with learning disabilities who are often overlooked until the damage stacks up. My experience supporting elders through In Home Supportive Services and working with youth shaped how I understand access gaps, system fragmentation, and what it takes to deliver care with dignity. Long term, I plan to pursue a PhD in Public Health so I can research what works, measure it honestly, and help communities scale care without losing their humanity.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Public sector or nonprofit program manager and policy analyst working on city systems that shape health and opportunity, including housing stability, neighborhood services, transportation access, and community based public health initiatives.

Graduate school interests

Further graduate study that bridges public administration, public health, and urban planning. Areas of interest include healthy cities, housing and homelessness policy, mobility and access, climate and heat resilience for vulnerable residents, and equity centered performance measurement so city investments can be evaluated and improved with accountability. I would also like to travel abroad to deepen my understanding of how other countries design social infrastructure, and deliver services with consistency and dignity across diverse populations.
