About
I am currently a student at Illinois State University. I chose this school because there are plenty of ways to get involved, the location was a perfect fit, and the size of the university was just right for me. I chose business because it is challenging, innovative, and is affilitated with social responsibility. Business is my calling and my passion. I can build my leadership skills and make a difference in the world.
My family has struggled throughout the years as I was growing up, but they always managed to get back on the ground and running. They encouraged me to follow my dreams and make goals for myself. I want to make them proud and be a role model for my sister. Success has been the ultimate focus during my first semester at college. Success to me means following through. Go for the finish line.
I plan to be a leader. Now that I have built the foundation for it, I can keep going to build myself up even more. I managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA for my first semester at college and I have been provided with an outstanding opportunity to be a member of Honor Society.org.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to find a company that I can see myself having a career at. It starts with internships.I will be attending career and internship fairs to add some companies to my list and as they consider me, do as much as I can to impress them and show them that I am what they are looking for.
- Graduate school interests
I am going to get my bachelor's degree and then go on to get my Master's in Business Administration.
- Outside the classroom
I love to go out into the city. I love to read, write, and do research activities in my spare time. I also love to visit our senior citizens. They have so much power and wisdom and I want to give back to them. I want to volunteer at one of their homes. I love to go for runs and free my mind. I also love to do dance workouts.
