Goals and interests

Career goal

After completing high school, I plan on attending a four-year university. I have applied to Cal Poly, Fresno State, Chico, Davis, Santa Cruz, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara. Every four-year has already allowed me access to their portal, except for Chico, Fresno, Merced, and Santa Barbra which have already accepted me. I’ve chosen these colleges because they all offer engineering-related courses. Hopefully, once I start my university career I can begin to branch out and learn more about engineering and all the different types of jobs that revolve around the major. I plan to obtain my bachelor's degree after completing two years of my selected college. I might stay an extra couple of years to obtain my master's in business or mathematics. Not only would a master’s benefit me financially wise, but I could also expand my career in the STEM industry. My dream is to get an internship at “Tesla” once I complete my educational career.

Outside the classroom

My Hobbies include: Reading, Playing Videogames, Writing, practicing arithmetic, studying religion, playing chess, studying history, and building communities.

Volunteering

  • Since Freshmen year, I've spent my lunches working in the cafeteria as a server. Lunch duty required me to work vigorously and learn the FIFO system. While working I learned how to communicate clearly and work under pressure.
