Renardo Smith Jr.

My name is Renardo Smith Jr, I am 18 years old and I will be graduating in the year of 2021. I am currently prepping myself to attend JSU this fall, where I will be studying graphic design and Creative Writing. I grew up in a small town named Lisman, Alabama until the age 5, where I was then moved up here in Montgomery, Alabama. I've always had a talent anything that had to do with art, such as sketching, painting, digital art...etc. In the year 2018, I discovered that I had a special hidden talent for writing. Such as poetry, free hand writing, creative writing, and even writing books. Not only am I gifted with many hobbies, but I am also a student-athlete. I've been playing football since I was in 2nd grade, and have had a pretty successful career. Currently I don't have any athletic scholarships, but I definitely have academic scholarships. Besides being in football, I was part of an entrepreneur program named the EMBODI program for a good 3 years. Last year would've been my fourth, but covid 19 showed up and a lot of programs were delayed. Yet, I still retained a lot of important information from the program that will help me out a lot in life itself. Besides talking about myself, I believe I will be able to contribute and carry on this successful legacy as a whole. I wasn’t chosen for any otherreason than for being a high achiever in high school. I want to be one of the Alumni’s that people can know about in the future, demonstrating that this program is specifically meant for them. I want them to know, if they want to be successful in this world achieve high and strive to be chosen for the honors society.
