About
My name is Renee Lynes and I just recently graduated from Vallivue High School. I am going to be starting school at Boise State University this fall and I am going to major in Pre-Nursing and minoring in Psychology. I've been in the National Junior Honor Society from 7th grade up until 9th grade where I was then inducted into the National Honor Society. Because of my constant focus on my schoolwork I didn't have much of an opportunity to do continuous volunteer projects (which I regret), especially since track season was coming up. However, I managed to volunteer here and there when I wasn't swamped with homework. I love to learn, especially if it is science related, and I am eager to study new things everyday! Not to mention I'm also a quick learner. I also tend to work better in a group and I'm able to befriend people quite easily.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to eventually become a nurse practitioner, specializing in dermatology, and open up my own spa one day! All of my facials and scrubs will be made from organic products so that the natural ingredients will bring out the best in your skin, leaving you feeling confident and content!
- Outside the classroom
I've recently taken up pole vaulting, which is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done but the feeling of clearing certain heights makes it worth the hard work! I also like to cook and bake. I have a cabinet in the kitchen dedicated to all of my cookbooks (I think I have over 50 of them). I also enjoy reading, writing, drawing and listening to music.
