I graduated high school in June 2016 and will start university in August 2017 after a gap year. In high school, I competed in Academic Decathlon and was a member of Spanish National Honor Society and National Honor Society. I continue to volunteer at my parish as an assistant for religious education, children's ministry, and chapel events.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to be an author but for stability, my plan is to work in publishing as a publicist, editor, or agent. Similarly, I am interested in exploring screenwriting and journalism. There is also a possibility of exploring business fields, such as advertisement and marketing.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in continuing my education after earning a bachelor's degree; as of right now, I am uncertain if I will continue by earning an M.A. in English or a degree in a more specific field.
- Outside the classroom
I like to write poetry, read novels/poetry/novellas/short stories, watch television/anime/short films/documentaries, sometimes play video games, listen to music, and take long walks. I also spend most of my time with my family or close friends.
