About

Reona Kelly, born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, is a nineteen-year-old graduate of Manning’s School and a current freshman at Georgia State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Exploratory Nursing. She is an active member of the National Honors Society and The Caribbean Student Association, where she participates by Dancing and giving back to the community. She goes by the mantra, "If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way."
Reona Kelly epitomizes a true leader, which is evident in her assuming the position of Student Assistant in the Office of Student Success and Retention, where she assists in the students' registration process. During her tenure at Manning's School, she served as the President of the Environmental Club, 1st Vice President of the Students’ Council, Upper School Public Relations Officer of The Tourism Action Club, Treasurer of Performing Arts, and the Key Club Projects Committee Leader. Her academic success was no less than her extracurricular activities; at the end of her tenure, she was a recipient of the Headmaster's Honor roll, a Top Biology student in her year group, and obtained a National Placement in the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council Chemistry examination.
Ms. Kelly is very passionate about helping others and community development. For this reason, she aspires to be a doctor and aims to assist young ladies in actualizing their goals through the establishment of a Women's Centre. After graduating from Georgia State University, she plans to apply to the John Hopkins School of Medicine, where she will complete her studies and ascertain her Ph.D. in Pediatrics. Reona continues to give of herself and services unreservedly for self-actualization and community development. This presents her as a force to be reckoned with, both academically and in her extracurricular activities.
