Goals and interests

Career goal

I've worked in the field as a Substance Use Counselor and specialist for 9 years. During that time I've been a Recovery Advocate, Case Manager, Counselor, and specialist in a variety of contexts and modalities. I intend to attain my Bachelor's in Psychology while finalizing a path of clinical and social psychology with an emphasis in substance use and legal advocacy and then pursuing a Masters as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Graduate school interests

I have a passionate and active interest in macropsychology, the intersection of clinical psychology and law, and the science of consciousness. Specifically, I am interested in the psychology of transgression and manifestations of groupthink in treatment settings.

Outside the classroom

I am an avid film and music enthusiast. I love philosophy, exploring the outdoors, and hiking.
