About

Kisuk Ki'yukit (Good afternoon)
My name is Rhonda Stiffarm; I am a proud enrolled member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation located in Northwest Montana. However, my biggest accolade is being a mother to three fantastic humans. My kids are my trophy case, and I display them proudly. They are all grown and out in the world living and exploring, and when I say exploring, I mean it; they have traveled all over this country of ours. My youngest daughter is nineteen, but mentally four (4), she is my special needs diva. She was born with a condition referred to as "Agenesis absence of the corpus callosum"; her two hemispheres of the brain are missing the bridge that connects them. She is non-verbal but highly vocal and has a very social spirit. I work hard, keep current on all medical appointments, provide constant care, and do my best to include her in everything. I believe she is here for a reason, and I was chosen to be her mother, which I accept fully. Not only am I a mother, but I am also a full-time employee for the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. I work as an executive assistant at their Golf and Country Club in the Administration Offices. Also, because my schedule is not demanding enough, I chose to go back to school to complete my education. I felt I was missing something and wanted to complete the journey I began long ago. I do not see myself as a role model but as a motivator; if I can do it, so can anyone. I am a huge cheerleader when I hear of anyone who wants to go to school, and if I can help with the process, I am not afraid to jump in. I have a strong personality and an unparalleled work ethic.
