Ricardo Crespo Sendra

As a student, my goal is to build a strong foundation for my future as a professional by gaining as much experience as possible, beginning with summer internships at architecture/design firms while I am still an undergraduate. I plan to work at an architecture office while completing my Master of Architecture program. Graduate teaching assistant positions are also of interest to me, as they would allow me to explore the field of education and expand my connections with faculty and professionals. The experience I gain in the coming years will be essential to achieving my goal of becoming a licensed architect and, eventually, owning my own practice.

My main interest for graduate school is the University of Florida and its Master of Architecture program. This institution has opened its doors to me, and I am finding my place here. Its graduate program is highly competitive and well-regarded. I am especially interested in opportunities the school offers, such as serving as a graduate teaching assistant to help finance my studies while gaining experience and challenging myself in new ways.

Drawing has been my lifelong hobby. I began taking drawing lessons at the age of eight, and that passion has stayed with me ever since.
