I have big goals and high expectations for myself, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve them. While anyone can say the same thing and be genuine about their goals and expectations, I have the mindset that I need to achieve my goals and surpass my expectations without settling for less. My dream is to attend college out of state and eventually pursue multiple advanced degrees in different fields of study while focusing on Business. I am currently taking multiple business oriented classes in order to give me experience before studying at the university level of course work. These goals are important to me because I want to continue challenging myself academically, develop into the person I aspire to be, and create many opportunities for my future. Outside of my academic journey, my faith is what I am most passionate about. In recent years, I have found a genuine connection with Christ and strive to deepen that bond every day. Not only has it increased my understanding of the Bible, but it has also taught me better methods of studying texts in academics. However, the most beneficial thing I have gained from my growth in faith is my growth in character. I am more willing to spread love and positivity to those around me, regardless of who they are or what they have done to me. My patience and forgiveness have allowed me to find new joy and peace in my life, taking away much of the mental stress I once carried. Most of all, my faith has instilled a new sense of discipline and consistency within me that applies not only to my faith but also to my academic work.
