About
Hello, I am Roanne Porter but my friends and family call me Rosie. I am an American who was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, though I travel to the States nearly every summer. I've realized the unique impact that growing up in a desert has had on me. It has gifted me with a distinct perspective on the world and society. It has also assisted in sculpting my firm beliefs in opinions which has molded me into the person I currently am.
As a person with many hobbies and aspirations such as fulfilling Art and writing, I am utterly thrilled to get out into the world and grow into the creative, altruistic, and balanced person I know I can be!

Participated in a charity food boxing event at Prince Sultan University
I helped pack 200+ boxes of food to give away in the month of Ramadan in which many people fast during the day.

Joined a program in which I cooperated with other teenagers my age to create a children’s summer camp full of activities
The project was successful and we made a profit (2019). I developed my team-building, budgeting, and communication skills and experience thanks to this program.

I attended an upcycling clothes event
The event emphasized the importance of recycling and aiming for a healthier and more sustainable way of living. I revamped an old shirt into something a little more fashionable so I’d be more likely to wear it.

I co-created a business, handmaking waist beads for people at a local gym
It took me many hours to make numerous waist beads of different designs but it was all worthwhile—the business profited.
