Romeo Angelini

Hello! Firstly, yes, my name is really Romeo, and yes, I’m a thespian. What are the odds?

I’m an extremely motivated student and artist who has tried every musical ensemble I’ve been able to get my eager hands on. I am also a member of the drama program, acting in plays and writing my own skits. As I strive for excellence, I’m a member of all 3 main, audition-only, l groups for concert band, orchestra, and choir. Besides these, I’m saxophone section leader in marching band as a junior, a position typically held by seniors. Then, I take part in the musical while joining the jazz band, known as the most prestigious musical group in school. Lastly, I act in the summer musical, before band camp begins and my rotation of ensembles repeats.

I am a high-achieving honors/AP student in the gifted program. I’m in the National Honors Society, Tri-M Music Honors Society, and National Thespians Society.

Another passion of mine is psychology. I am a proud therapy-goer, and I believe in normalizing therapy and making mental health resources accessible. I am proud of my perseverance through various mental struggles. Mental health is just as important as physical health.

Fun fact about me: Since I turned 9, I’ve asked for food items to donate instead of birthday gifts, hosting my own yearly food drive.

I’m a unique, hardworking, and deserving candidate for scholarships, as college is incredibly, ridiculously expensive, and I have great potential. When I can worry less about my finances and more about my projects, I can achieve above and beyond my fullest abilities. The sky’s the limit!
