About
Full-time student and full-time mother of two young daughters. I am fully devoted to improving my life as well as my children's through higher education. While my past in foster care did impact my life, I must say it was for the positive as I have always been motivated to improve my circumstances and be successful in the business field. Although unable to help me financially in my strive for higher learning, my adoptive parents have aided me in providing necessary childcare and moral support. On the other hand, my husband also provides me with much moral support and supports my dreams and aspirations for the future. Unfortunately, his immigrant status also limits the income he receives for only the necessary household essentials. I have embarked on the journey to higher education on a full-time basis to improve not only my future and opportunities but those of my family as a whole.

I spend my free time at the library or the movie theater with my two daughters. We also spend time at the local community center where we can enjoy the pool, computer labor classes. When my daughter's after school activities allow, we also volunteer with the Welcome to America Project to assist refugees who are new to the country, feel welcomed. Above all, I take every chance I receive to teach my girls about the many opportunities available to them and the world around them.
