About
I am a senior at Canton High School in Canton, MA, with a 4.53 GPA. I'm seventeen years old and I'm still in the college application process. I'm an officer and 4-year member of the CHS Drama Club, a section leader of the CHS Chorus, and a first chair flute for the CHS Band. I'm a member of DESE's Safe Schools Statewide GSA Council, Queer Youth Assemble's (a nationwide non-profit group by and for queer youth in America) education and policy departments, and an editorial intern for the Institute of Youth in Policy. I volunteer with my town's youth theatre, Students for Change (a non-profit group focused on preparing young leaders to lead civic and community engagement efforts), Bulletproof Pride (an organization run by lgbtqia+ individuals to end gun violence), and Advocates for Youth as a part of YouthASC. My opinion pieces have been published in QYV (Queer Youth Voices) and the YIP (Youth in Policy) Magazine. Through many of these endeavors, I have experience in analyzing policy, speaking up for myself and those around me, effecting change in my community, and collaborating with both elected officials and my peers all across the country.
