About
With over 24 years of experience in public safety, I am passionate
about providing emergency medical services, fire protection, and
public information to the communities I serve. Currently I am an
Environmental Health & Safety Specialist at Amazon Air, KILN
Wilmington, Ohio. I ensure the health and safety of the employees
and visitors at the Air Hub, and respond to any medical
emergencies or incidents.
As a Firefighter/EMT/HazMat Technician
at Scioto Township Fire Dept, I protect the lives and property of the
residents and businesses in the township, and supervise the external
relations and web design of the department.
I am also a certified ASHI and Red Cross Instructor, teaching
CPR, BLS, and EMR courses to the public and our staff. I have
completed the Advanced Public Information Officer training through
the Emergency Management Institute, and I manage the township
website and the fire department social media pages.
Additionally, I set up and manage the Project DAWN program, which provides
free Narcan kits to prevent opioid overdoses. I am currently pursuing
a BSJ in Journalism with a Strategic Communications major at
Ohio University, using the tuition assistance from Amazon. I have a
veteran-owned small business, Buckeye CPR Training, LLC, and I
am in my 27th year as a volunteer with the American Red Cross and
9th with the Franklin County LEPC.

My photo of the Vietnam Memorial Wall was published with the VFW magazine and on their website in Dec 2019. Dog dad to two amazing doggos and I enjoy teaching safety and lifesaving skills. I am an history buff and enjoy traveling to battlefields, taking photos and making posts online to share the history so it does not ever fade away completely. I have over 13 MILLION views of my posts on google maps and over 12.5 MILLION views of my photos on google maps.
