I received this award when I worked in Emergency Medicine

Career goal: I have the desire to take the tools that I have learned and empower others to wellness. I also would like to take what I learn globally and teach it to those who may not be able to afford healthcare. I am honored to be a part of a DNP-FNP graduate degree program and
make a difference in my community.
Graduate school interests: I really enjoyed the advanced anatomy and physiology class. It was very challenging but I'm so glad I stayed with it. In the past few years I have taken an evidenced based practice class and learned how to develop an evidence-based practice project.
In the past few years I have taken two trips overseas, two mission trips in the United States, and it was volunteer based. I was honored to serve people in need.
Outside the classroom: I enjoy walking, being outdoors, hiking, boat riding, reading, singing, and getting together with friends
