About
My name is Ryan Fifield, I grew up in a military household I live all over the country seeing different places and many different people. This is the longest I’ve lived anywhere 10 years and I’m ready to go exploring again.
I started my interest in construction at a young age with Lego's building large structures and buildings. My passion was later reinforced in high school where I took two years of drafting classes. I participated in the Sandhills Community College early Promise program in high school and was able to take more architecture courses. I found a real love for the field during this time.
I spent a year or so at Sandhills getting general education out of the way then devoted myself to my major. At Sandhills I developed my architecture knowledge while learning hands on surveying, building loads, and construction management. After graduating from Sandhills Community College I transferred to continue for my bachelor’s, and I am now attending Appalachian state university in Boone NC. I would like to continue afterwards for my masters in Germany after I finish at App State
I truly enjoy this field and find my self lucky to have found a job I can find joy and fun from.
