About
Non traditional student who went back to school in my thirties because I want to lead by example and show my daughters that we can be successful as long as we make an effort. Senior at University of Nevada-Reno in the School of Social Work, graduating with my BSW in spring 2025. Aiming to further my educational career via the UNR Online MSW program. It takes a village, and together we can support one another in reaching our full potential!
Goals and interests

My intended job path is to get an LCSW and become a mental health provider in my hometown of Reno, Nevada.
- Graduate school interests
Decolonization of social work practices, therapy, and oppressive systems and policies within society that negatively effect marginalized communities and BIPOC.
Encouraging dignity of risk and retention of autonomy for all people.- Outside the classroom
Reading and exploring our community with my daughters and our doggy Chico.
