About

I am currently an undergrad Animal Science major and Asian Studies/Natural Resources minor at Cornell University. I've grown up around a variety of animals including cats, dogs, and even horses. Having worked with mom at her dog grooming salon I've been exposed to a variety of animal personalities and special health needs. Pursuing a career in animal science never posed a question in my mind! I have had a passion for big cats as long as I can remember! My parents say I was drawing cats before I was even really talking. I've done internships and volunteered at numerous animal conservation organizations such as Panthera, the Wolf Conservation Center, and the Elephant Listening Project. I am an animal science major at Cornell, but my minor is in Asian Studies and natural resources. I have spent the past two years studying Mandarin and other East Asian languages out of genuine interest and the hope to do conservation work in Asia. After completing my undergrad degree at Cornell, I hope pursue an master's and doctorate's degree in wildlife conservation.
