About
I was born and raised in a town in southern Iran called Shiraz. Upon finishing middle school, my parents helped me to travel to
Malaysia in order to attend high school and have a better opportunity to
take IELTS courses. During my years in Malaysia, I researched
universities throughout Europe and the United States, coming to the
conclusion that the latter would be the best place for me to realize my
dream, because it would afford me more opportunities. I came to the US when I was 19 years old, and ever since I have been involved in many volunteering and shadowing to have more exposure to the field of dentistry. I will complete my Master's in summer 2021, and hopefully start my dental school.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Combining my academic background in Biological Science and Global Medicine, I aspire to continue my education in Dental Medicine and follow my deep passion in helping underserved population as a dentist.
- Graduate school interests
Currently I am studding Master of Science in Global Medicine, and I applied for dental schools in the United States. Furthering my education in Global Medicine following with Dental Medicine Degree will improve my knowledge to recognize global health pandemics and be able to combine strong medical science foundations with significate approaches to healthcare.
- Outside the classroom
I have been playing the Santour (Traditional Iranian instrument). I am also passionate for outdoor activities: I have been snowboarding since two years ago. I love to bake and design them. Also, I am a huge fan of hiking and camping; however I didn't have chance of doing much camping because of the current pandemic issue.
