About

I am a recent Colorado State University graduate. During my time as a laboratory teaching assistant I promoted active learning and guided students in cell biology techniques while ensuring lab safety. I contributed to student success by grading reports and exams, provided feedback on assignments, and held review sessions and office hours to further understanding of complex concepts.
In addition to my degree I completed a pedagogy course to strengthen teaching strategies as part of my learning assistant role. During my time with the LA program I supported over 300 students in biology, chemistry and genetics.
As part of my BS in Biochemistry, I gained practical skills in PCR, ELISA, protein purification, DNA extraction, and other methodologies.
