About

I began college with a set of current, short, and long term goals. After high school graduation in Virginia I attended Germanna Community College for my first year, to get a feel for what I wanted to archive long term. I then transferred to University of Mary Washington where I was able to continue my participation in track and field alongside my academic studies. In the summer of 2013 I decided to move back to Texas with my father and transferred to University of Houston. I have felt very at home year at The University of Houston; it has given me the opportunity to continuing doing what I love on the track team at a highly competitive level. I have also continued to grow as a student by increasing my GPA each semester and generating a great degree path in Anthropology. In the winter of 2013 I also started coaching again; previously I had worked as a gymnastics coach in Virginia. Now I am volunteering as a Pole vault coach at Glenda Dawson High School just south of Houston. Dawson is also where I attended the majority of my high school and track career; I truly enjoy the coaching their pole vaulters and helping them to succeed as well as compete at higher levels.

Goals and interests

Outside the classroom

I enjoy sever different types of athletics and sports; however, my main focus is competing in the pole vault on the Houston Cougar track and field team. On my own personal time I compose my own music with vocals and guitar. And lastly, Because I enjoy coaching so much, I consider my job volunteering at Dawson high school as a hobby as well.
