My name is Samantha Rodriguez. I am a twenty-one year old senior at the University of Texas A&M Kingsville. I am studying to become a Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Psychology. I want to succeed and graduate with my bachelors degree at the top of class. I am determined to accomplish my goals. My parents never had the opportunity to attend college and I am honored to be able to attend as my parents work multiple jobs to pay for my college tuition. Any opportunity that I have to apply scholarships, I will take it. I appreciate any offer that I can receive to help pay for my tuition. Becoming a member of the Honor Society means a lot to me.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently studying to become a Speech- Language Pathologist. I plan to graduate with my Bachelor's Degree. I love children and I want to work with children. There are so many options from a specific field of study to do. The job path that I intend to do is in Feeding. It is helping newborns until the age of three with birth defects of the mouth/lips. It is teaching the parent the proper way to feed their child because they cannot eat or drink the way other children would.
