Samantha Skelton

I am currently enrolled as a senior at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. The major that I am pursuing is a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services. Growing up I was always good at working with children and it is something that I am very passionate about. I bounced around a little bit on whether I wanted to be a teacher, a pediatric nurse, etc., before I finally decided to pursue a degree in Human Services. The thing about Human Services that drew me in is one, it is such a broad field that I will have several areas to choose from and will have the option to move around through the course of my career without needing an additional degree, and two, I will have the opportunity to work with children from tough situations. I want to be able to make a difference in the lives of those that I work with.
