Samantha Taylor

I started out highschool not caring about my grades, had no motivation, and I had no idea of what I wanted to peruse. But my sophomore year I moved home to Oregon from Israel and realized that I need to take accountability for my grades and prioritize my education. I proceeded to work hard to prepare my self to apply for the Early College Program my high school offers. It is currently my second year in this program, and I attend Chemeketa Community College. It has been a great experience; I have proven to myself that I can overcome hardships even I do not believe in myself. In the spring I am going to apply for the radiology program at OIT in hopes to become a certified MRI Technologist. I hope to travel around the US and hopefully different countries, while still practicing radiology. Looking back being a careless freshman in Israel, all I wanted to do was travel the world, and experience new cultures. Quickly I realized I will need a well paying job in order to achieve that goal. And every day I am working hard for my goals.
