About
I am highly interested in finding employment in the field of Social Service. My past employment and post graduate studies in the Master of Clinical Human Services Program at Post University have afforded me the knowledge and experience to work with a great assortment of clients. I’ve served adults and children with behavioral, neurological, mental health, drug and alcohol addictions as well as United States Armed Forces, Active Duty and Veteran populations. This experience has familiarized me with homeland security standards, DSM IV & V diagnoses, mandated reporting, HIPPA guidelines and therapeutic crisis interventions.
While employed at CCMC I also held an internship position at The Rushford Rehabilitation Center, (Paddock Ave. location) as a Clinician II, and The Department of Veteran Affairs’ Recovery Support Unit, in Rocky Hill CT. My position as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor granted me the privilege of understanding the U.S. Military and the various degrees of addiction. I was responsible for instructing four different courses and was honored to serve and observe our Veterans’ in the capacity of a civilian student.
I am a self motivated and creative individual that has also served as an Art Teacher for three years among simultaneous other committee leadership roles such as; Family Outreach, Haitian Disaster Relief Fundraising, and Reading Promotions, and the Holiday Donations for students and families at CCMC School as well. Along with the instructional demand of my previous position I also maintained thorough behavioral, emotional, educational, and system wide level data for students in preparation for team meetings. I was an active facilitator in the Safe Space initiatives for Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender students at CCMC.
I achieved a Clinical Master of Human Service Degree from Post University in 2013 and am eager to begin a new career adventure. In the community I have volunteered services at church functions, activities for children of LBGT parents, participated in Crop Walks to support community food pantries. I’ve actively participated in the March of Dimes fundraisers for medically impaired children and joined the “Isla Muejers Team” of the Lupus Foundation of America in May 2013. Upon completion of both internship courses in 2015, I was accepted into the Teikyo Post University National Honor Society. In 2016 I have also dedicated several hours of planning and collaboration with local churches to support the Syrian Refugee Home Initiative in Middletown Connecticut. Please consider me as a qualified candidate to enrich my career aptitude with your company.
Thank you in Advance,
Sanji Lawrence

I enjoy craft projects and have taught Art classes at C.C.M.C. school for four years, along with positions on the Cheer Committee, and Social Events Committee. I spend a great deal of time volunteering my time to Veteran supported activities such as the annual "Stand Down" event and others orchestrated by the Legionnaire affiliates of Post #206. My family and I support our troops whole heatedly and are currently teaming up with the local V.A. Hospital to fund a Fisher House in New Haven Connecticut to help serve military families, while their loved one's recover in the hospital.
I am also an avid pet lover and support the Military Service Dog Initiative. I have a service dog myself and understand the therapeutic benefit it may have for our returning soldiers suffering from traumas.
