I chose to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Human Services because I have a genuine passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I am interested in understanding human behavior, supporting individuals and families through challenges, and connecting people with the resources they need to thrive. Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path in Human Services is case management. I plan to work directly with individuals and families by assessing their needs, developing service plans, and connecting them with community resources. As a case manager, I aim to advocate for clients, provide ongoing support, and help them overcome barriers related to housing, mental health, education, and employment. This career path allows me to build meaningful relationships while making a lasting impact through guidance, coordination, and compassionate care.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in graduate school to advance my skills in
Human Services, improve my effectiveness as a case manager or school counselor, and open doors to leadership and advanced career opportunities.- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include painting and drawing, traveling, grounding myself in nature, enjoying the outdoors and weather, and relaxing with picnics.
