About
I am a sophomore mechanical engineering major with a minor in acting at Case Western Reserve University. I am a sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority which enables me to make meaningful connections with women outside of my major. It also has taught me about the Sigma Foundation and the importance of play therapy which is when children in hospitals are given the opportunity to play with toys and feel normal. I am currently the Vice President of Operations of Tri Sigma. I am in charge of our campus and national accreditation and the internal running of our organization, especially making sure we uphold our National values in all things we do. This is strengthening my organizational skills and developing my communication and delegating abilities. I joined our Greek Service Fraternity, Lambda Eta Mu. Each semester we focus on three different causes and within each cause we do an education component, a service component, and a reflection component in order to participate in meaningful service. I am a Cleveland Civil Engagement and Learning Scholar. This means that I attend multiple cultural or developmental seminars, participate in 50 hours of service, and write a reflection. Twenty-five of the fifty hours is at one location which I have chosen to be the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Cleveland Clinic. I am part of Women in Science and Engineering Round table which encourages girls to go into STEM and develops its members through professional workshops and networking. I was also secretary of the Water Polo Club at Case my second semester of freshman year. I have been unable to play this year due to a second concussion but plan on playing again my junior year.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I know I want to go into something with mechanical engineering. I am thinking mainly about design, product development, or research and development, but I am still getting a feeling for what area really interests me. I enjoy working with things that I can see move, such as cars or robots. I would love to be a part of projects that help the environment or 3rd world countries.
- Graduate school interests
I am intending to go to graduate school, but I will either need to wait until I have a secure job and can afford it or hopefully have a company or organization fund my further schooling.
- Outside the classroom
I love to read. I will try to read just about any book. I tend to read fantasy books and romance books but I'll read most anything if it is well written. I like to draw. At home, I draw on the walls of my room, but at school I will draw things on paper and hang them up with blue tape. I love playing water polo and exercising in general. Lately, I have been doing Pilates in my dorm. I also enjoy sleeping and Netflix.
