About
I am currently a Diagnostic Medical Sonography sophomore at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. I grew up in a small town called Holt, near Lansing, Michigan. I have always been extremely motivated to study something in the health field, and after spending a year at Grand Valley deciding exactly what I want to do, I have chosen to go through the Radiologic and Imaging Sciences program at Grand Valley, focusing on the General/Abdominal area. Grand Valley is my school of choice because when it came time to pick a college, I had heard nothing but great things about the school. After going for a tour of the beautiful campus and meeting some pretty awesome people, I knew there weren't any other options. I am extremely excited to spend these next 3 years pursing my goals, and doing what I love at this amazing school.

I hope to become a Medical Sonographer focusing on the General/Abdominal area at a private practice, hospital, or doctors office.
- Outside the classroom
I love spending time with my friends and family, and I really enjoy being around little kids. I love working out and running. I played basketball all throughout high school, and I still love to play. I enjoy spending time with a good book and some coffee.
