About

During my studies in the Master of Public Administration program at Ohio University, my focus has been on community engagement and sustainability. The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs has granted me this fantastic opportunity to grow and become more aware of the challenges and joys faced by administrative professionals. My goal in achieving an MPA with a graduate certificate in Environmental Sustainability is to work in higher education as either a communicator within a college or university, or as an adviser for college age students. My experiences growing up in Appalachia, receiving an undergraduate degree in Visual Communication and History, working in The Ohio University Graduate College, holding the position of Vice President of Communications for Graduate Student Senate, and interning with UpGrade Athens County have pushed me in the direction of wanting to navigate town-and-gown relationships in order to benefit communities as a whole.
