About

I am a graduate student at Texas Tech University with a strong academic record, including a 4.0 GPA in Spring 2025 and a cumulative GPA of 3.833. As a first-generation woman studying abroad while raising a family, my journey is driven by resilience, purpose, and a deep passion for technology. I previously worked as an Assistant Software Engineer from 2017 to 2021, and after a family health emergency, I took a career break to care for my loved ones—an experience that shaped my commitment to personal growth and service.

Currently, I’m advancing my skills in software development and cybersecurity, including completing the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate on Coursera. I’m actively involved in the Indian Student Association (ISA) and volunteer in campus and community events. I was honored with the Hindu Temple of Lubbock Scholarship for 2024–2025 in recognition of academic excellence and community engagement.

My professional goal is to work as a software engineer or cybersecurity analyst, contributing to ethical, impactful technology solutions. Long-term, I aspire to mentor and empower other women and first-generation students in STEM, using my journey to inspire and create opportunities for others.
