About

I am Sean Ebel, My goal is to compound my technical education with my years of manufacturing/ leadership experience in order to solve long standing problems and develop process improvements. In other words, Every factory has a long standing issue that no one knows how to fix and becomes the bane of all the employees. This may be poor layout, equipment issues, or process failure. I want to be the person that fixes those issues.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I have a decade of experience in manufacturing. I started working the floor and moved up to middle management.

Because of this experience I want to become a controls technician capable of fixing/ improvement equipment. My long long term goal is to use that combined experience to lead and mentor others in a controls/ process development role.

Outside the classroom

Pottery and ceramics are a big hobby of mine. It allows me to make something tangible that is both creative and practical. It also allows me an outlet to apply my technical knowledge. For instance, I was able to upgrade my kiln's temperature controls by wiring in and programming a PID controller.
