About
My name is Seberina Gonsalves-Sabola, and this past year I received my bachelor's degree, it was a trying road but I am grateful for it. I am currently residing in Orange, NJ but originally, I am from Guyana, I move to this country five years ago in the hopes to complete my dreams and help young individuals whose parents or guardians were affected by the criminal justice system and have no one to help them. I want to help juveniles and give them the opportunity for a better life and right now I am working on a business plan for a better facility that can provide something like that. I don’t think detention centers help these children, but I am terrified to put myself out there with my plan or ask for help, I know that’s the only way something will happen, so I am starting here first. Currently, I am not working but I volunteer at a church to help kids. I have my associate degree in Criminal Justice from Essex country, this spring the final chapter of my education has now begin, my last degree which is my master's.
