About
As a first-generation college student, African-American woman, single parent, and individual living with a disability, I bring a unique perspective shaped by resilience, determination, and purpose. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, driven by a passion for creating lasting impact through innovative and meaningful work.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am in the process of launching a small business dedicated to promoting the ketogenic diet and its potential benefits in managing chronic diseases and illnesses disproportionately affecting the African-American community. My goal is to empower others through education, accessibility, and culturally informed health solutions.
Being a member of the Honor Society is a reflection of my commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. I strive to inspire others by showing that perseverance and purpose can transform challenges into opportunities. I look forward to connecting with other driven individuals who are passionate about making a difference.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
As a first-generation college student, African-American woman, single parent, and individual living with a disability, I am proud of the path I’ve carved through perseverance and passion. I’m currently studying Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship, with the long-term goal of building a career that blends business innovation with community health advocacy.
My journey has inspired me to launch a small business centered around the ketogenic diet and its benefits for chronic conditions that disproportionately affect the African-American community. I am passionate about using entrepreneurship as a tool for healing, empowerment, and education—especially in underserved populations.
Ultimately, I aspire to lead and grow ventures that promote wellness, equity, and self-sufficiency. Being part of the Honor Society affirms my commitment to academic excellence and values-driven leadership. I look forward to connecting with others who are equally passionate about creating change and lifting up their communities.
- Graduate school interests
While I am still exploring whether graduate school is the right path for me, I am deeply committed to continuing my education and professional development. My current interest lies in earning a second bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, with the goal of becoming licensed and obtaining specialized training and certifications related to the ketogenic diet.
I’m passionate about the power of nutrition as a tool for healing and prevention, especially when it comes to chronic illnesses that disproportionately affect the African-American community. My long-term vision is to become a trusted expert and advocate, helping others make informed health choices through culturally relevant, evidence-based guidance.
Whether through formal education or targeted certification programs, I’m eager to continue learning and growing in ways that support my mission of health empowerment and entrepreneurship.
