About
I am an academic at heart and am constantly learning new things. I try to strive to do better that I did the day before and understand subjects that I struggle with and learn something new. Family has always been my driving force and is a big motivator for me. I spend as much time with them as I can. I try to live with compassion in everything I do and use it in my everyday life as I move forward academically and professionally. Because I try my best to help people as much as possible, I decided to become a nurse.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently a full time student while working on my degree in nursing however I am working towards becoming a nurse practitioner. Helping people has always been a big part of who I am and I feel that working in the medical field as a nurse I will be helping the most while providing the most care.
- Graduate school interests
After working on my associates degree I plan to work on my bachelors, masters then my doctorates in nursing practice.
- Outside the classroom
I have a wide and varied interest as far as hobbies go. Most of it involves spending time with my family. I like to tend to the garden, play video games, doing some sort of craft project and crochet. I try to learn new things for each of my hobbies, whether it is a new stitch, a new plant for my garden or a new strategy for the video games I play.
