Serlyva Mbimbi

I am a dedicated Biology major specializing in Physician Assistant studies, complemented by a minor in Psychology. My academic journey took an international turn as I pursued Rehabilitation Medicine in China for two and a half years. The experience broadened my horizons and instilled a deep appreciation for diverse medical fields.

Upon transferring to the USA, my career aspirations evolved. While initially aiming for a surgeon or emergency physician role, I became enamored with the versatile and impactful work of Physician Assistants across various healthcare domains. This revelation led me to pivot my career trajectory, focusing on becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) instead of a Medical Doctor (MD).

My dedication and perseverance underscore my commitment to achieving this goal. I am resolute in my ambition to serve underserved communities and contribute knowledge to those most in need. As an aspiring PA, I am enthusiastic about leveraging my unique background and experiences to make a meaningful difference in healthcare.
