About
I am a mom of two amazing children. I work as an LPN full time and go to grad school full time to achieve my life goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. I lived in China for 10 years. I have Native American roots and vow to strive to better Native American living conditions and healthcare access on reservations . Culturally competent healthcare is very important to me. I recently traveled to Poland to volunteer caring for Ukrainian refugees at a clinic. I would like to continue this work and travel to other countries in need and help in clinics where I can.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Nurse Practitioner, AGNP
I would like to work on Native American reservations as a provider for the Indian Health Service to provide healthcare for those in rural areas with limited access. I would also like to volunteer at clinics around the world in areas where help is needed most.- Graduate school interests
While in grad school, I will receive my DNP. In addition I hope to learn personally more about culturally competent care, healthcare equity, and rural medicine.
- Outside the classroom
Most importantly I love spending time with my 2 children (ages 3 and 8) and my husband. I love going hiking, painting, and reading. I especially love traveling though COVID has put a bit of a damper on that lately!
