About
I have been an RN for 8 yrs and I will graduate from the RN to BSN program this Fall. I am currently working as an RN Case Manager for an insurance co. I pursued this career area after working as the night charge nurse/staff nurse on a thoracic PCU/Stepdown unit. I am a very dedicated, focused, and goal oriented person and I feel that I have the potential to make a difference in the life of many if I just continue to pave the road towards prominent and respectable leadership. I plan to pursue a Masters in the Fall of 2016 in Nurse Education and Family Nurse Practitioner.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have set the goal for myself to further my education and begin the BSN to DNP (Doctorate in Nursing Practice) with a Masers focus in Family Nurse Practitioner. After completion of these degrees I plan to work under others in my career field and build the foundation, knowledge, professionalism, and expertise I will need to serve patients at my own practice.

I am currently in the process of applying to the BSN to DNP program at UMSL with program start date of August 2016.
