About

Greetings! I am Shannon Dyson, a Visual Artist, Designer, and forward-thinking Entrepreneur deeply committed to the Wellness, Autoimmune, and Dynamic Disability Advocacy community. My life's path has been shaped by a profound passion for sustainability, integrative health, and health innovation, driven by personal health challenges with Lupus that led me to discontinue my education numerous times as well as financial hardships.

Education is a lifelong commitment, and I am an adaptable life learner, always eager to attend workshops and enhance my career goals. Goals and interests

Career goal

With a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Sustainability, Integrative Health, and Health Innovation, my intended job path is to become a leading advocate and practitioner in the field of holistic health and sustainable living. I envision a career that embraces a multi-faceted approach, combining my expertise in health and wellness with innovative solutions for a greener and healthier future.

As an Integrative Health Practitioner, I have experience providing personalized health coaching, nutrition counseling, and wellness programs to individuals seeking a holistic approach to their well-being. I will integrate my knowledge of alternative healing modalities and sustainable practices to guide clients in their journey towards better health and balance.

Building on my passion for sustainability, I aim to become a Sustainability Consultant, advising businesses and organizations on adopting eco-friendly practices and promoting sustainable initiatives. By incorporating integrative health principles into sustainability strategies, I can create comprehensive plans that prioritize both environmental and human health.

As a Health and Wellness Educator, I will use my interdisciplinary background to design and deliver workshops, seminars, and educational programs focused on holistic health, sustainable living, and health innovation. My goal will be to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills to lead healthier, more sustainable lifestyles.

My interest in health innovation will lead me to explore cutting-edge advancements in the field of health and wellness. I plan to engage in research projects that bridge the gap between traditional medicine and innovative technologies, with a focus on promoting sustainable health solutions.

Given my dreams of creating a sustainable farm and community, I aspire to become a Sustainable Agriculture Advocate. By championing regenerative farming practices and promoting local, organic food systems, I can contribute to a healthier planet and foster food security within communities.

Recognizing the significance of policy in driving change, I will seek opportunities to work as a Policy and Advocacy Specialist. I will use my interdisciplinary knowledge to advocate for health and sustainability initiatives, shaping policies that support holistic health practices and environmental preservation.

Eventually, I envision starting my own health and wellness venture, combining elements of sustainable living, integrative health, and health innovation. This could involve launching a wellness center, a sustainable spa, or a health-focused restaurant that embodies my values and promotes well-being for both people and the planet.

Throughout my career journey, I will remain committed to continuous learning, professional development, and community engagement. I will strive to be a positive force for change, using my interdisciplinary knowledge to create meaningful and impactful solutions for a healthier, happier, and more sustainable world.

Outside the classroom

Indulging in my hobbies is where my heart finds solace and my creativity takes flight. Dancing is not just a hobby but a profound passion that allows me to express myself and connect with others through the rhythmic movements of my body. Alongside dancing, cooking brings immense joy as I create delectable dishes that tantalize taste buds and foster a sense of togetherness. As an aspiring artist and innovator, I constantly seek new challenges and take pleasure in problem-solving to create inventive solutions. My love for travel fuels my curiosity to explore diverse cultures and cuisines, while my dreams of owning a sustainable farm and community drive me to envision a greener, healthier future. Embracing the interactions of all my passions, I find joy in creating engaging and interactive experiences that leave a lasting impression on those around me.
