About
Hello! My name is Shannon Easton-White (considering dropping the hyphen and going full on White soon). I have been married a little over a year and taking the hyphen makes things really confusing to people. I entered Oklahoma State University when I was 18 in 2001, stayed for a few years, then loaded my car and headed for the West Coast. It was one of the best moves that I made. I was not ready for school yet. I traveled for years and after landing a dream job back home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, decided it was the best time to finish school. The time is here, in May 2016, I will finally graduate. I know my wedding was one of the most important days of my life, but walking across that stage will be just as important. It was a long road to get here.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
People ask me this questions all the time, but I feel like I am always set on my path. I have a great job with an amazing Foundation and hope to continue to grow within the organization.
- Graduate school interests
If time allowed, which I am not sure it ever will...I would love to study America, outside of America. There is a great program in London, which would be interesting. I would also like to complete the Non-Profit Management Certificate at Oklahoma State University.
- Outside the classroom
I know once school is over, reading for pleasure will become a hobby. I love to pretend how to cook. My husband and I enjoy going on vacation when the time allows. Live music has always been a huge part of my life, so when I can find time to enjoy some, I do. I would like a new hobby, something like painting or knitting.
