I am taking a computer class this summer of 2014 which will enable me to graduate with the Associates Degree in General Studies. I am also taking a CNA and CPR course and will be both CNA and CPR certified by the end of July 2014. My plan is to begin working as a CNA in a nursing home. I believe the geriatric population deserves the absolute best care and don’t always get the attention or proper care in which they are entitled to. Following this, I plan to reapply to a nursing program in the Western Massachusetts area. Becoming a CNA will give me the tools I need to take better care of clients due to the experience I will get upon employment. When I couldn’t care for my mom or sister-in-law due to the task at hand, the nurses assigned to them were absolutely wonderful and truly made them feel that they were special. My goal is to be one of those nurses. I am determined to make each and every one of my clients feel they are getting the best care possible.

I absolutely love the outdoors. At every chance I get, I find an activity to do to enjoy Mother Nature whether it be gardening or hiking. I have two dogs and a cat which I adopted and they are my life. I take the dogs on walks in the woods at every opportunity that I have and that truly is the highlight of my day. Come fall, I am an avid hunter so you'll find me out in the woods somewhere. I also love watching hockey and am a Bruin's fan so when hockey season roles around I am always watching their games!
