About
As a woman who was raised in poverty I have surpassed the odds at becoming the first generation graduate with a BA degree in Clinical Psychology. I was raised and currently still reside in Rhode Island. Growing up my socioeconomic class was considered low. There were times when paying rent or buying food was a hard decision for my mom to make. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't allow my children to live in poverty. I have graduated with a 3.78 GPA at Southern New Hampshire University and have been accepted into the Clinical Behavioral and Mental Health program at Johnson & Wales University where I will complete my graduate program. I have two beautiful, smart, and ambitious children who I hope follow my path of knowledge and strive for excellence.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
To obtain my Master's Degree and becoming a self employed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have always had a passion for helping people and a fascination with how the mind works. Clinical Psychology is a field that is constantly growing. The mental health crisis in the U.S. since the start of the pandemic has worsen and I hope to make a change. My goal is to become a self employed Clinical Counselor helping adolescents face their fears and assist them in conquering their dreams. I plan do this by applying my knowledge and skills that I have gained throughout my BA program and helping adolescents who suffer from severe mental illness, abuse, neglect, etc.

I have always had a passion for digital art. I am a self taught digital artist and this hobby brings my mind, body, and soul comfort and peace. Apart from digital art I love to read romance fantasy.
