About
Hello. My name is Shawn Strom and I'm an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota Morris. I'm currently studying music with hopes to be accepted into the secondary education program later in my academic career. I plan to be a High School Band Director/Music Teacher after I graduate. I have an easygoing and creative personality and I also have a great work ethic.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to be a high school Band Director/Music Teacher and don't have any plans to advance my career further after I acquire a teaching position.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy playing my musical instruments. While my major primary instrument is trumpet, I also play guitar, accordion, piano, and saxophone for fun. I also enjoy playing video games such as "Minecraft" and "League of Legends". I enjoy "Minecraft" particularly because of the creativity that is the core of the game-play.
